El Cid Bowls Club
Founded in 1988 membership has grown to 106 full time bowlers. The surface was levelled and the carpet was re-laid and stitched in 2009 producing a great surface. The club meets 4 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday). There are frequent events and competitions throughout the season including social functions and trips to places of interest.

Paquitas Country Club
Meeting at El Cid the social club currently has around 200 members and has further membership places available. Formed at the end of 1991 Paquitas keeps you entertained all year round with a sewing group, language class, short mat bowling and whist group as well as functions, events and trips to interesting places including summer poolside BBQ’s and Dinner Dances at Christmas and Easter.
